المشكلة

تنسيق المستند لا يقتصر فقط على المظهر البصري — فهو يحمل دلالات. العناوين والقوائم والجداول والتنسيقات الغامقة/المائلة والتعليقات التوضيحية والصور المدمجة كلها تنقل معنى يساعد نموذج اللغة على فهم السياق. التحويل الساذج للمستندات (مثلاً باستخدام OCR الذي يعامل كل صفحة كصورة مسطحة) غالبًا ما يفقد هذه الدلالات. نتيجةً لذلك، قد تكون استرجاعات RAG وإجابات LLM غير دقيقة أو مشوشة.
